This piece, supported by the theoretical principles of studies developed by Kossoy (2007 and 2002) about photography and memory, analyze as from photographs of the amateur football team Bangu Atletico Clube, from Liberdade neighborhood in Campina Grande-PB, held by locals, are built as oral narratives of memories of the Community amateur football team, they assume the character of photojournalism and historical document, taken as an historical reference in the sporting context. For this, the object of this study is the photographic collection of amateur football teams in that city, owned by Paulo Roberto da Silva. As for methodological aspects the study of qualitative nature is characterized as bibliographic survey, based on the theoretical review on the history of the photography, the photography as a document record and as the materialization of historical marks of practices and social representations, and about oral narratives as memory record. The corpus of analysis is based on the contribution of the documentary research modality, since it takes in consideration the photography as a historical document. It is also considerate the study of photography as a memory trigger, whose principle is relating the photographic image to oral history in data recovery and (re)construction of stories, in which photography is not taken as illustrative element of the veracity of reality, but a tool which one seeks through memory to reach the nuances of ambiguities, simplicities and symbolics. The importance of this piece lies in the fact that to foster to academics in journalism the opportunity to relate the theoretical knowledge, that has ben studied during the course, to a real situation, which involves the need of academic, scientific and professional guidance in journalism area for photography study actions, oral narratives and memory. |
